Yes. We renovate and restore existing pools, build pool extensions, and can even build a smaller modern pool inside a large old one. Renovation and remedial work is a core part of what we do.
Absolutely. We work with developers to build pools in multi-storey property developments, as well as residential homes and duplexes. Compact and tight-access sites are well within our experience.
In the Sutherland Shire, every block must keep a minimum percentage of its area as landscaped area, meaning space used for growing plants, grasses and trees, free of buildings, paving and structures. That minimum is set for each individual property by Sutherland Shire Council, not a single shire-wide figure. Because a pool and its surrounding paving take up space that would otherwise be landscaped, a block that is already close to its minimum may not have room for a pool without dropping below the required amount, and that can affect approval. Different councils apply different rules and definitions, so what is allowed in the Shire will not necessarily apply elsewhere. The good news is there is often a workable solution once we understand your site. Contact us to confirm your block's size, zoning and landscape area requirement before you plan your pool.

Because we are a small team, we oversee every job personally from the beginning through to completion. When you engage our expertise, you get our expertise for the full duration of the build, not a rotating cast of subcontractors. The journey moves from design and consultation, through council approvals and engineering, into construction, finishes and handover.
In pool building, the cheapest quote is often the most expensive once the job is finished. Some operators deliberately leave items out of the quote to make the headline number look smaller, then sting you with the cost later once the work is already underway and you have little choice but to pay.
Common things we see that get conveniently omitted include:
• Spoil removal. Excavating a pool generates a large volume of dirt and rock, and the cost of carting it away and disposing of it is real money. Leaving it off the quote makes a builder look cheaper, but the bill still arrives, usually as a variation once digging starts.
• Using the right equipment for your site. The correct machinery for the access and conditions can be the difference between a job that runs smoothly and one that takes twice as long. Cutting corners here drags out the timeline and quietly inflates the final cost.
We quote transparently. We would rather show you the true, complete cost up front than win the job on a number that was never realistic. Beyond the quote itself, cheaper usually means shortcuts in the build, and those consequences often do not surface for years. A pool is a long-term investment, so we engineer every build with premium materials, expert craftsmanship and proven construction techniques to ensure it stands the test of time. We would rather build it right once than have you pay twice.
Every project is different. Timeframes depend on the design complexity, site access, the slope and conditions of your block, council approvals and weather. Steeply sloped or cliff-edge sites, for example, require detailed planning, earthworks and engineered shell structures that add time below the surface before the visible work begins. We will give you a realistic schedule once we understand your site and design.
